What You’ll Do
As a Terrestrial Biologist, you’ll be part of a collaborative team conducting fieldwork, analyzing data, and supporting environmental assessments. You’ll:
- Assist with field surveys (local and around BC and AB) and ecological studies focused on wildlife, vegetation, wetlands, and habitat.
- Help manage and analyze ecological data to support project goals.
- Support project logistics, including planning field trips and coordinating with site contacts.
- Travel for fieldwork (trips are typically 7 to 12 days in duration).
- Prioritize safety and professionalism in all tasks.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who’s excited to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful work.
- Minimum of two years of post-secondary education in an environmental field.
- Interest in terrestrial and wetland ecosystems in BC and Alberta.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work in remote and/or industrial environments.
