Daniel Burgin is an experienced ecologist and biologist with over 10 years of experience delivering ecological research and wildlife monitoring programs across Canada and internationally. He specialises in threatened bird species monitoring, field surveys, and ecological data analysis to support conservation, environmental management, and regulatory decision making across terrestrial and marine ecosystems.
His background includes senior and leadership roles in ecological consultancy, seabird and shorebird monitoring, and applied research. Daniel has led and supported field and office teams, developed budgets and research proposals, and worked closely with clients, Indigenous groups, and multidisciplinary teams to plan work, manage logistics and safety, and deliver projects on time and to a high technical standard.
