Lisa Coburn is a Senior Botanist with LGL Limited with over 15 years of experience as an environmental consultant and has contributed to a wide variety of projects. Lisa has extensive experience undertaking floristic surveys through implementing various provincial protocols across Canada and in a wide variety of habitats. Surveys include vegetation community mapping, multi-seasonal plant inventories, targeted plant species at risk surveys, woodland and wetland boundary delineations, and the evaluation of wetland significance as per provincial protocol. Lisa regularly completes arborist tree inventories, tree preservation plans, and tree risk assessments in support of Municipal Class Environmental Assessments and development applications. In addition, she has been involved in a variety of field inventories including water quality sampling, fisheries surveys, and amphibian surveys.

Lisa has extensive experience preparing environmental documentation including feasibility studies, existing conditions, impact assessments, and mitigation reports. She regularly prepares mitigation and restoration/ecological offsetting strategies and has prepared documentation in support of Ontario Endangered Species Act permit applications. She has considerable experience working within provincial policy framework including the Provincial Policy State, Greenbelt Plan, Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan, and as well as municipal policy.

Lisa is qualified and has experience conducting the Ecological Land Classification for Southern Ontario, the Ontario Wetland Evaluation System with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) and is a MNRF Certified Butternut Health Assessor. Lisa is an ISA Certified Arborist, is Tree Risk Assessment Qualified, and is a Qualified Oak Wilt Assessor.
