Katie Korol is a Fish and Aquatic Biologist, graduating from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Marine Biology. Katie has worked on a variety of projects on the East Coast of Canada including furthering a database of marine microbes within the Bedford Basin and conducting marine mammal observation for contribution to ongoing databases within the Bay of Fundy. On the West Coast of Canada, Katie has worked on various fisheries projects in stock assessment. She is experienced in environmental monitoring within terrestrial, intertidal, and marine environments for the installation of fibre optic infrastructure. She has been apart of project installation from beginning to end with detailed site surveys and the creation of environmental baselines, management plans and associated environmental permitting. Katie is a Biologist in Training (BIT) with the B.C. College of Applied Biologists.
