Sean Munro has a strong foundation in wildlife monitoring, with a focus on ungulate monitoring and bird surveys. He has extensive experience leading aerial helicopter surveys for ungulates, bears, cliff-nesting raptors, and waterfowl. Sean also has experience with a wide range of other studies, including ARU and remote camera deployment, salmon sonar monitoring, fish sampling, hydrology and water quality surveys, and environmental monitoring.

Sean’s field program responsibilities have included safety planning, gear preparation, data management, staff training, communication with coworkers and onsite project personnel, collection of biophysical and geospatial data, analysis of field data, and writing summary reports. He effectively collaborates with and understands the objectives of government, industry, and Indigenous partners in the planning and completion of wildlife programs thanks to his diverse background working in government, academia, and private consulting.
