Madhupreeta Muralidhar is a Junior Planner with a background in ecological research, environmental policy, and municipal planning. She holds a Diploma in Conservation Biology from Sir Sandford Fleming College and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Botany. At LGL Limited, her work focuses on land use planning to support development proposals and natural heritage planning, including contributions to Environmental Impact Studies (EIS) and municipal peer reviews. Madhupreeta’s land use planning experience includes processing Planning Act applications, drafting internal policy documents, preparing reports for Council, and managing public inquiries at the municipal level. Madhupreeta’s ecological research has focused on pollinator health and climate change, soil microorganisms, and botanical history, with findings published in peer-reviewed journals such as Proceedings of the Royal Society B and Endeavour.

Certified in the Ontario Benthic Biomonitoring Network (OBBN), Madhupreeta also holds an Indigenous Perspectives Designation from Fleming College. Her technical expertise includes QGIS spatial analysis, molecular phylogenetics, and technical reporting for both government and private sector stakeholders.
