Julio Novoa has an academic background that combines geomatics and environmental sciences. He has been providing support and guidance in the geospatial domain since 1998. Most of his career has been spent on providing technical solutions to public and private organizations through Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, GPS, cartography and software scripting. Julio has a solid scientific base, fieldwork knowledge, and several years of managerial experience leading environmental consulting projects where spatial analysis and modeling, feature extraction from remotely sensed imagery, geostatistical analysis, and processes automation have been some of his key contributions.
