Martin O'Halloran joined LGL Limited in summer of 2001, after attaining his diploma from the Fish and Wildlife Technology program at Sir Sandford Fleming College in May 2001. Martin began his career working with various conservation authorities of the Greater Toronto Area and the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources. Since joining LGL in 2001, he has been involved in habitat assessments and biological inventories involving a variety of disciplines including vegetation, herpetofauna, mammalian wildlife and fisheries. Martin is commonly involved with Federal Fisheries Act Authorizations, Class Environmental Assessments, Environmental Impact Studies, and Arborist Reports through government and private sector projects.

Martin is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture, attaining his certification in 2006. He also holds certifications with the Canadian Environmental Certification Approvals Board as a Canadian Certified Environmental Practitioner, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (LGL Cambridge Office Worker Member), WHMIS, CPR, Wilderness First Aid, Ice Safety, and is a MTO/DFO/OMNR Protocol Contract Specialist and a 2nd Class MNR Electrofishing Crew Leader.
