Jordan Pietroniro is an ecologist with experience in aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems throughout Ontario. Jordan has been involved with fisheries inventory surveys, habitat assessments, and restoration initiatives, most notably, her post‑graduate thesis research analyzing Brook Trout habitat suitability within the Twelve Mile Creek watershed in the Niagara Region. She has experience with a variety of reptilian species, specifically monitoring turtle populations, nesting sites, and preventing road-side collisions. She also has experience conducting wildlife, avian, and arborist field surveys.
Prior to working at LGL, Jordan worked in a municipal setting conducting GIS analysis for engineering and infrastructure related projects. Her experience includes analysis of spatial and non-spatial data, geodatabase design and management, development and implementation of interactive web-mapping applications, and creation of cartographic deliverables. As an ecologist at LGL Limited, she has been involved with mapping related to natural heritage inventories, environmental assessments, environmental impact studies, habitat and restoration mapping, as well as change-over-time analyses.
