Beverly Saunders (M.Sc., B.Sc., E.P.) has over 15 years of experience in land use, natural heritage, and watershed planning fields, obtained at all levels of government in Ontario and Wisconsin. She has provided planning, public, and Indigenous engagement, and/or project management services for 70+ landowners to ensure the progression of their private development proposals. Beverly has also contributed to or led a wide variety of municipal planning projects, including Official Plan and Zoning By-Law updates, targeted stakeholder engagement, and development review commenting. Her primary career focus has been on leading projects with significant public outreach components and/or with natural heritage or hazard policy compliance challenges.

Beverly specializes in effective and responsive public engagement as well as bridging the gap between scientific investigation and on‑the‑ground implementation for the protection of natural resources. Beverly also has several years experience teaching applied planning and environmental stewardship in college programs and providing formal and informal mentorship to young professionals.

Beverly is a certified Environmental Professional through ECO Canada with designated specializations in Fish and Wildlife, Policy and Legislation, Natural Resource Management, and Water Quality. She is also a Candidate Member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute and Canadian Institute of Planning and is certified in the application of the Ontario Wetland Evaluation System.
